Spring, Texas Dog Photographer
Pausing time for dog parents, families, and couples.
Spring, Texas photographer serving Houston, The Woodlands, Conroe, and Magnolia areas.
All dogs are welcome!
All of my sessions are rooted in connection and play. I love to capture dogs… being dogs. And the most genuine moments come from letting them do just that.
If your dream session involves a lot of posing and everyone looking at the camera the whole time… I may disappoint you.
My sessions are playful, sometimes messy, and full of movement. Dogs and kids (even adults!) settle into my go-with-the-flow approach quickly, and that’s usually where the magic lives anyway.
This work started as a way to advocate for fellow dog parents, to show that photos with your dog don’t have to feel stressful or performative. It can be honest, grounding, and actually fun.
“We will always choose Julia for our photos, not only because her work is so beautiful but it’s how she interacts with our family and is so involved with helping us create the pictures we want! She always captures the moments we will forever cherish.”
capture it now, remember it later
Want to run around pretty places with your dog, soak up some golden light, and have photos that actually feel like you?
I’m happy to tell you that you’re in the right place.
I’m Julia! A photographer for dog people, LGBTQ+ individuals, but most importantly, anyone who wants their photos to feel more like a memory than a performance. I’m not big on stiff posing or anything overly polished, honestly. I’d much rather help you settle in, have fun together, and create space for the real stuff to happen naturally.
This all started because of my own dog (my first, actually!) and a camera I had seemingly forgotten about that I then couldn’t put down. I fell in love with documenting connection through her, little details, and it very quickly became much more than a hobby for me.
I’ve captured hundreds of dogs since 2018, and after years of photographing dogs of all kinds, shy couples who swear they’re awkward in photos, wild toddlers, emotional elopements, people deeply in love – there’s honestly not much that can throw me off anymore.
