My approach is all about you.
If you’ve been searching for an inclusive photographer in Houston or Spring, TX—someone who gets it, someone who shows up with heart—you’ve found them. I'm not here to pose you into something you're not. I'm here to celebrate who you already are.
Whether we’re chasing golden hour, playing in the creek, or even just taking it slow the the backyard… this is your space. You be you, and let me capture the beauty of exactly that.
While I’m based in Spring, Texas, I tend to go wherever the dogs are. In other words, I love to travel. Want me to come to you? Let’s make it happen!
Your story deserves to be told exactly as it is—with warmth, truth, and a whole lot of heart.
I'm a storytelling photographer based in Spring, TX, proudly serving Houston and surrounding areas. I specialize in capturing raw, honest, joy-filled moments—whether you're dancing barefoot with the love of your life, laughing on the floor with your kids, or curled up on the couch with your dog, I’m here to capture it exactly as it is. Real, tender, and worth remembering.
I take a storytelling approach to photography. That’s the beauty of it, right? Telling a story without words. And not just any story—yours. Genuine, candid, personality-driven. We all remember those stiff studio photos under bright lights, forced smiles, and awkward poses. We’ve evolved way past that. You deserve photos that feel like you.
Want to run barefoot through a field with the person you love most? Let’s do it. Prefer a slow evening with a blanket and a sunset? I’m in. Dancing in your kitchen with your dog on a lazy Saturday morning? Absolutely. This time is yours. Your love is worthy of documenting, just as it is—without expectation, assumptions, or boxes.
Because the truth is: every family is different. Every couple is different. Our dogs have their individual quirks and personalities. Your story deserves to be seen for its realness, not staged perfection. I’ve been in your shoes, and I know how vulnerable it can feel.
I also know what it’s like to not see yourself reflected in the photos of your past. I remember sitting stiffly in a studio as a kid, being told to say cheeeese! while none of our real personalities made it through the lens. No goofy grins. No music. No magic.
That’s what I want to give back to you: magic. But not the pretend kind—the kind that already lives inside you.
Not Just Inclusive—Intentional
Inclusivity isn’t a trend; it’s a commitment to truth and a promise to show up with care.
When I first came out, I second-guessed everything—what I wore, what I said, even if I should post about my relationship. I feared backlash, judgment, or worse. Being with my girlfriend was one of the happiest parts of my life, but I didn’t always feel free to share it. When I finally did, it felt like a weight lifted.
That freedom? It’s everything. And I want that for you, too.
I’ll never forget one of our early photoshoots as a couple. We were being posed as “the man” and “the woman”—based purely on gender presentation. I couldn’t quite name the icky feeling in my chest at the time, but now I can: we weren’t being seen. Just slotted into roles.
I made a vow after that. My sessions would never look like that. Whether you're femme, masc, somewhere in-between, or none of the above—you deserve to be captured as you, not as someone else's assumption. This is a safe space for your story.
We finally found photographers who saw us for who we are. And now, I get to be that person for others.
Ready to be seen, fully and honestly?
Julia wonderfully captured each member of my family’s personalities. All her thoughtful details really made us feel comfortable and enjoy the shoot. Her photos are stunning!
